Hya all.. I readed that some old COOL maps where downloaded. I thought
hey, .. I changed one off my servers in to a custom map server 
For now that server is on 1 mbit , so USA could have little lag. I still work
on the colocated 100 mbit server.
Anyway for thoose who like to play custom maps, here are the specifications.
Server Name : RF-1 Custom Game
IP: 80.100.24.245
Port: 22351
Game type : CTF
Maps: CTF_Football_fun , ctfWWII , ctf_art war2 and ctf-2psy
UI : Original
Hop in, and have FUN.

I have no clue what the map rotation is at Cobra666 cause i did not
entered that server for at least 4 months for some reason. My server
has no mods installed , its just i have space for several differend
servers and host for RF players arround the world that like Custom
maps.

No? And even if it was... They're all custom maps, in the public domain... the fact that someone happened to run the same rotation shouldnt matter  |

I have it still up on 1 mbit , and ill host the custom server from the 100 mbit up to aswell,
when i have it online that is Also you all will find more RF-1 servers up , to try keep RF
up CLEAN next years.
If anyone has ideas for maps that should be run.. gimmy a call

I don't think there are many custom maps in that server. It's even rather limited. Add a crual lack of originality since it's the same rotation as in cobra 666 .
It's going to be hard to get in competition with cobra 666, a server that is never empty. 
As for ideas of maps for the rotation,
Well i just reviewed DM - SKA king of the hill 4000AD and DM - SKA HIGH WAY 0.2 and there are so many other quality custom maps |

As i said , i have no idea what map rotation 666 has. This RF-1 server has
original UI , and it would be cool if the RF community has ideas what "custom"
maps i should run. I'am working on lot other stuff for RF day in day out and hope
to inform all soon .

, going kinda off topic but there is something all should know. RF-O
hostst 14 RF-1 servers. ( ctf - dm and tdm )
Public servers and clanservers. Oké , Oké at low speed
line for now but when some things solved all will be on 100 mbit up
line.
The custom server is just there for those who have custom_maps
and like to play them.
I have to admit, we have lot delay whith updating our website whith
info, but thats just a matter of time.. sorry for that. We do our best.
RF-O is just there to make sure "redfaction" can be played by anyone
that wants to play "redfaction" . We do not care if any server is NOT used
or compleet FULL.
Fact is : RF-O ( public ) servers are ONLINE for ALL any time.
"Redfaction" is for FUN , to play online whith anyone arround the world, we
do NOT go for the count .. we go for >hey want to play RF ? hop in ! <

Honestly, I don't see the point in running multiple servers if none of them have people in them. I can see hosting three (one for each game type), but running more than one of the same game type and not having any people is a waste of bandwidth... There's no need for 7 servers. Maybe 5, one for each game type and two event (clan fights, custom maps, etc) servers. |

Well, TBH, between RF-O and RFN, that's about 3/4 or more of the empty servers in RF. All together, empty servers is kind of pathetic, meaning how pathetic the drop of RF players has dropped...  |
