Levels-4-You

Myself and Garner have been organising a UK LAN for the 4th Birthday of Levels4You for about 2 months now, and the website is finally complete.

We both just need it mentioning on the main news really, just that we're ready for people to sign up and quoting the address. You can find the site at http://lan.visuallimit.com.

If you need some extra information on the LAN you can find it in these 2 topics:

http://www.levels4you.com/forum/view.l4y?view=121054

http://www.levels4you.com/forum/view.l4y?view=123200

The second topic quoted is currently the active one.

If you've got any questions just direct them at myself or Garner really...

(12:18:44) Alfie: The Lan, I'm a bit done in by the distance to be honest m8
(12:18:55) Richard: So, no?
(12:19:04) Richard: Its cool. A yes or a no.
(12:19:29) Alfie: No if thats alright m8, just got a long way to go for it thats all
(12:19:36) Richard: Aye, thats cool.

Rocket would be my only other chance, but I can't expect him to bring my friends that were mean't to be going.

So thats another minus.

I looking into getting the 19th and 20th off work.. also Im looking for ride down. I live near Glasgow, but Im trying to convince my cousin to come along, as he has transport.

If I do make it I'll be bringing the Multi-player version of Red Doom on CD so I can get a few folk to test it.

Sounds cool man, worth the trip alone

I'm sure there's another scotsman who plays regularly, maybe you can pursuade him. I'll have to remember who it tho first

Don't pull out RHF, sort something out. You, your mates and Beat can all get the train. Saftey in numbers n all that. Either that or ask Garner for a lift. I am sure he'll be only to happy to oblige

I'm in the process of changing jobs (today), so things are very unpredictable at the moment.

Lots of my monuments will come crashing down shortly.

My PC is like a metre tall.. thats the problem that stops me from taking the train.

I'll ask about.

We thought the distance would be a problem for some, thats why we had originally planned it to be here in Warwick... middle of the country as much as possible...

Pitty the fools here turned us down... its meant my mates who were coming up have had to pull out as well. From SE of London you're looking at around 4-5 hours drive... even for me from Warwick I'm looking at the best part of 2 hours (if not more...)

We'll all see... I'm not even confirmed as going yet... found out a few hours ago I'll be moving house the week before... which is a little problem...

Yea, I was all for the Warwick area, but up north is just too far for us (me and Vert).

Although I like your comical stance on this I don't think you would be able to do something of the same scale Matt, Robo has been putting a lot of planning into this. Just the big flux up of the situation is the location, most people are south! The event is past Liverpool!

Next time, southern event!

It's what we tried originally, so yes.

We still have enough people, trust me. We don't have many confirmed but I have lots of people with interest and also an emergency reserve of people.
Need to enquire about our LAN? Email funked@gmail.com
