Due to miscommunication and the administrators living in different timezones, as well as having busy lives, this has dragged on for far too long.
We, the administration of L4Y, have made a giant misstep this past week. Over the past few days we've all carefully read what has been going on in the whole 'Hell Hunter situation'.
Based on our previous experiences with RHFweb's forums and trusting on our staff members to be true, we TUed two of our members, molodiets and mad_ferrit.
Unfortunately in hindsight this appears to have been a very wrong decision, we've found that Hell Hunter's part in this was quite substantial, in contrary to what we thought.
We thought Hell Hunter was yet another vicitim of the popular Staff bashing, members of RHFweb's forum enjoy 
Right now it appears that most of this was caused by Hell Hunter's own unkind words in those forums.
As the administrators of this site, we try to keep things running as smoothly as we can and try to make the right decisions. This time however we've made the wrong decision.
mad_ferrit, molodiets, consider this an apology from us, we know we've upset you a great deal and quite possibly have taken alot of fun out of this website for you, we are sorry for that.

I'll think about this.
Although, I don't think the staff will still like this being a front for hatred, even though they introduced this new rule from U5 after the "Hell Hunter" stuff kicked off that I had no involvement in what so ever.
The new rule states that we can't dis the staff members at 3rd party websites, any links to such material will be deleted.
Hmm. |

Yeah I agree. There's no point having a thread entitled Your most disliked L4Y staff member but I don't see the harm in having a levels4you related thread in your site.
If this site is properly moderated and not abused by the staff or it's members then there'll be no reason to use it however.
But it has proved useful in the past. But that is only when the staff here have been on a major censorship mission and not allowed us to voice our opinions / concerns.
Just have a think about how some of those forums and thread titles are phrased, and maybe rephrase some of them. |

Esca, with all due respect... learn to read before you open your mouth next. Look 3 posts further down... Skip WAS already un-TU'd at that point... its called a JOKE, perhaps you should look it up in a dictionary at some point... sigh.. at least Skiprat got it... 
Some people here are just up tight the entire time and quick to jump on their high horse at the slightest hint of a problem. Esca just proved that... the joke was revealed just 3 posts further down the page and yet somehow 'missed' reading that and only saw the bad side of it...
Lesson learned methinks... |

This is a website run by a guy, and that guy has, in turn, decided to dole out a certain amount of responsibilities to a certain amount of other people. No first amendment rules are applied here. Neither you, nor I, nor anyone on this site is implicitly granted the most minute amount of free speech. Whatever freedoms have been granted to you are purely of privilege.
Also, you used the possessive "its", rather than the abbrevatory "it's", but we'll not go into that. |

Not even an american site, indeed. The first amendement isn't a british law. Irrelevant.

But this forum is public and users are expected to tell what they think not what a few ones expect them to say. It's possible to restrict access to the "happy few" who think and behave alike. 5is it the principle of the staff forum?) It would be far better a censorship than editing a post since it would be a mind self-censorship.It seems not to be the policy here, however.
This site is run by a man but it's a symbiosis. Users come, participate,animate, help each other and aproximately abide by the rules (as long as they are fair) instead of flooding the forum with spam and resurrecting every old thread or worse staying silent.

When someone looks at what you said or wrote and decide that a part of it isn't allowed to be heard or read, it's censorship, no matter in what dictionnary you're looking up for a definition.
It's perfectly legal (and sometimes recommendable) to censor or moderate a forum.

Garner can you see why Esca misread the situation? When I read the post he mentioned Skiprat was still TU’ed, at least the TU message was still showing on his posts.
You’re supposed to be calming things down not stirring them up. Not bothering to apologise yourself except to add your name to your Demi Admin’s post until 10 hours later didn’t help much. Especially since you managed to make time to TU those members, post a public thread about them and make some flippant remarks here.

Esca has absolutely no reason to trust you or your intentions. You’ve never given him any.
I told you to look at how your actions are going to be perceived before you go wading in.
Your Demi Admin have set a good example here for you to follow. If you want to change the way members look at you here then change. If you want to stay the same, well, this crap will keep happening.

If I have learn anything from being a member here and been staff for a short time is that you shouldn't argue with any of the staff members Demi, Admin or Regular Staff.
Just forget whatever he typed. It doesn't matter. Just post here to help others and don't get so involved with what happens here. It's "a web site" NOT "a way of life".
In closing, I would like to say it...I better not. |

Look, I shouldnt be saying anymore, but I feel that I need to say something. Whats wrong here? Why are we all up at each others throughts? So what if I'm not perfect at spelling? I dont think it matters. I know I have struck others with that general statement about spelling errors, but who cares? Does it make a difference?
I wish that this website would quit giveing me this painful feeling inside, that mankind is corrupted, but the more im here, the stronger I see it.
First off, you need to understand that I dont get some jokes. I still dont get that joke that you made about the TU, and I wanted to see what was up. I returned to find pain. I had a long talk with a good friend, who calmed me down (thank you, you know who you are) and told me to stay out. I just want to know one last thing. Why all this? Why have we all come to this conflict with each other?
Lets put aside all the anger we all have, and understand that noone here has any right to put down, and harm anyone in any way. It hurts more than you think. Please also be more careful with your jokes.
Remember when my girlfriend came? Yeah, Lord Benson threw out the nice little comment that I was seeing other women. That was the most emotional pain I have ever faced with my girlfriend, because she didnt understand it was a joke.
Garner your right, some people dont get the joke. But that dosnt give anyone the right to scoff at them, and hurt them with harsh comments.
Please, Im not asking for a medal. Im asking for peace. Lets end this sorrow, and violence, and go back to the community that we once had. Quit fighting, and relax everyone.
