In order to celebrate L4Y reaching the grand age of 4 (we'll be going to school soon  ) Robo has been working like a man possessed in order to arrange a 24 hour LAN party!
After initially getting lots of interest after allowing people to sign up, we've had a mere 10 people offically state they were coming!
The LAN is scheduled to take place on Saturday 20th November up in Skelmersdale, UK (near Liverpool)
All the details on the LAN can be found here
The signup deadline is this Sunday, 14th Novemeber. If by the end of Sunday we dont have enough people to make this worthwhile (without charging £50 each that is ) we'll have to make the call on Monday whether to cancel or postpone the event until a later date.

rocket i know you need to advertise your shop but plz can u stop mentioning in every post? the only posts i have seen from u are about the shop! (It is a brilliant shop btw )
plz guys sign up. mad ferrit make sum friends!!! RHF shud sort his driver out. we need 5 more to break even with the hall rental and 13 more to break even price wise. please everyone and (almost) anyone plz sign up!!! |

Sorry m8t about F........com,but its not just here i plug my shop,had my posts removed from a few other sites lol,so from now on i try to limit my posts about my shop to 3 times a day not 7 ,and by the way i still will be coming but with such a hetic lifestyle im not going to know until last minute. |

well thats me signed up there 
i would ask all my frineds to come but they either have a poor computer or dont like my kind of games. 
i hope this goes ahead, then we will be able to play CS source
this event is going to be so mutch fun for everybody! instant ping, get to shout at the person who just fragged you lol, make new friends etc... oh yeah and prizes!!  |

hmm, dont think im intested in that with valve, look like a con.
anyway im glad some 1 has posted somthing so i can post somthing agen....
robo/garner, you said you would let us know by monday if the LAN party is still going to be on. and its monday night 10:30pm and still no reply!?!?!? i need to know if it on or not, hope it will....i dont wanan tell my mum at the last second that is not on or even worse travel all the way to the venue and find that its been cancled

Its not a con. Valve gives out software and licenses for LAN Parties and Tournaments for free. As far as I know, they've always done it. Its temporary and I guess you can't keep the games installed after the tourny is over, but what can you expect?
Its not a con. It is legit. Thats Valve's official website.
