In order to celebrate L4Y reaching the grand age of 4 (we'll be going to school soon  ) Robo has been working like a man possessed in order to arrange a 24 hour LAN party!
After initially getting lots of interest after allowing people to sign up, we've had a mere 10 people offically state they were coming!
The LAN is scheduled to take place on Saturday 20th November up in Skelmersdale, UK (near Liverpool)
All the details on the LAN can be found here
The signup deadline is this Sunday, 14th Novemeber. If by the end of Sunday we dont have enough people to make this worthwhile (without charging £50 each that is ) we'll have to make the call on Monday whether to cancel or postpone the event until a later date.

come on now, i would realy like this LAN to go ahead. any 1 know how many poeple are going? last time i heard it was about 7 or 10 ppl.........
so please more poeple sign up! thankyou
rember there is many prizes to be won!

Right well I would sign up, however Im still not sure I can make it.  Im going to chat to my College mates later on today, maybe one of their Dad's can drive us. 
That would add 3/4 People.

Yeah, I moved house last Friday... I occasionally get on the 56K but its only for quickly checking email and the fastest look over here imaginable in amoungst the other things I have to do.
ADSL is ordered but as yet BT haven't got back with the install date yet. The ISP cant do anything until BT have done whatever they need to do. Looking at 1-2 weeks most likely. |

If you find Dec18th unreasonable (due to its proximity to Christmas) we can find a different date.
I am truly annoyed at people like RHF's driver. If we didn't have people like him in the world you'd actually find we'd be having the LAN this weekend!. Think about it...
People should be doing what Beatonator is doing, inviting anyone they can trust to come. Groups are best. |

Well if somebody would get with the program and invent the transporter like in Star Trek, we wouldn't have this problem!
Come on guys, taking solid matter and breaking it into a bazillion pieces, transferring it through empty space and then putting it all back together again the right way can't be that hard. Lets get crackin...Any rocket scientists here?

Well I know binary and Pascal, and a (forgotten) bit of Visual Basic, I can write the program its upto you guys to make the actual Teleporter. |

Are we all clear it has been postponed? I don't want any of you turning up to a closed venue
I've changed the URL of the site slightly (for now) while I alleviate a problem with some ****s from school who are infesting it. I've got a clever trick with a law procedure book that will sort that one out |

Well, its looking slightly more promising for me... my Mate from College wants to come and we will invite another 1 or 2 of our mates, then all we need is travel. Im hoping one of their Dad's or something can take us. Maybe get another person on top if we get a minibus. or go and pickup RHF and Co LOL! |
