Posted Nov 10th, 09:11pm by Garner In order to celebrate L4Y reaching the grand age of 4 (we'll be going to school soon ) Robo has been working like a man possessed in order to arrange a 24 hour LAN party! After initially getting lots of interest after allowing people to sign up, we've had a mere 10 people offically state they were coming! The LAN is scheduled to take place on Saturday 20th November up in Skelmersdale, UK (near Liverpool) All the details on the LAN can be found here The signup deadline is this Sunday, 14th Novemeber. If by the end of Sunday we dont have enough people to make this worthwhile (without charging £50 each that is ) we'll have to make the call on Monday whether to cancel or postpone the event until a later date. ooooh prizes! RHF was bringing a party of 5, and you and you bring 5 too. That would be 10 + the 11 I know can go = 21. 21 is 4 people off our boundary for breaking even. See what I mean? An unreliable driver like his pushes the numbers down considerably... But if you can find some way to get all 10 of you here, with PCs (unlikely), go for it. Need to enquire about our LAN? Hmmmm, I gotta look into it, a proper minibus could seat what? 12? so say 9 + all PCs. if we could get that minibus theory going... Just gotta get a driver whos got the right Stats.
