Hi guys,
Just thought I'd use you all for a bit of market research, I'm after buying a tft this week, I've suffered without one for long enough and have decided I need to catch up with my flat mate who bought himself a 22" widescreen recently.
I've decided I'm going after a Dell 2007wfp, now its just a case of finding where to buy it.
Ohh sexy
Overclockers £252.61 inc VAT (£263 with delivery)
Saverstore £233.83 inc VAT (About same price as I have £5 rebate which covers the delivery charge).
I normally use Overclockers or Scan, but this time round Scan dont have what I want.
I've found it on Saverstore for a good price. I was just wondering if anyone had experience of using them since they changed hands?
Saverstore is what used to be Savastore/Watford electronics way back when. I'd used them alot in the past and they used to be very good, but then again I used to be able to pick stuff up over the counter which they no longer do. The product page looks a bit suspicious if im honest , but I do seem to have £5 of credit with them from my old Savastore points and the price is lower to start with.
Otherwise what other online merchants can people recommend?
Cheers

Saverstore: £234 - 22" Dell = £10.63 per inch.
Scan: £1115 - Projector (Max Size 300") = £3.71 per inch.
TFT's/Plasma Screens are just so yesterday... heck even my neighbour has a projector instead of a TV

lol, that is rather an expensive inch I suppose. I'm thinking I'll probably go for overclockers, not had trouble in the past, good returns policy, excellent support in the company forums, they also have a deal with dell, you get a 4 yr next business day warranty instead of 3 years.
I guess that makes it a much safer bet and probably worth the £30.
No I just have to get paid, cant remember if we get paid on the 26th of the month or on the last friday, its often the same thing so I'm not so sure. I guess I'll check the online banking and if the money is there, the order goes out today
Edit: The money is there ) Alex is now a happy chappy! |

You could always buy two of them and then get a load of canned baked beans which would see you through till next months pay again |
