We have staff openings in the following sections,
Unreal Tournament and/or UT2003
Doom3
Max Payne 2
Halo
What do you need to become staff here?
1)
We need to know you through your forum activity. We wont just accept anyone we dont know, we like staff members to have a good written standard of English and a mature attitude.
2)
We dont expect much, finding any relevant news for your game section as well as posting any new levels. The user submitted levels is not the only source of files for this site, if you come across any files we dont have and you have the time you can upload them here for others to enjoy!
3)
Broadband. Whilst it used to be possible to manage game sections on a 56K (I did it for 3.5 years  ), the size of the files for these games mean you will *need* broadband to be of any use!
What do you need to do to apply?
Send an IMS to the Administrator stating which game section, from the list above, you would like to be considered for staff in.
Thanks to everyone that applied, we're currently in the process of picking through the applications and choosing those we feel will make great staff members... |

Seriously though, i wouldnt wanna be now seeing what they have to put up with, even people like beaton who somehow has the patients to help me with stuff, gets dissed here  |

YP will be back no worries there.
Can't help you on RVA.
I am on call at the fire house as a volunteer from the time I get home from work at nite up until 2 hours before I start my regular job. I get sleep most the time but some nights very little. So it would not be odd to see me post at wierd times. When the adrenaline kicks in, I can't sleep after a call. But I am normally up at 5:45am. I have a child that needs to catch the bus.
I look forward to working with anyone that joins staff. |

YP has had some problems with living arrangements. He was around near the end of RFU3. He made arrangements with the admins and other staff to cover for him while he was gone.
Beatonator has been here. He was away for the holidays and had limited Internet access. |

what about OTHER DEMOS section,its the most under-staffed section on the site...its got nothing in it,basicly i mean theres tons of demos&stuff out there,if i only knew how to get the FTP uploads goin i could get some of them here but ah well..... |

If you go to the submit file, you can download a FTP for uploads

We don't want to waste too much bandwith on that, other sites have the demos and they have much higher download speeds available, basically we don't want users to download large files and download off the server for a long time, that way less people can download. |
