Is there anyway to get a sound file to continue playing through multiple cutscenes? I tried using a keyframe for sound, a play_sound event and a Music_start event and for all three as soon as it went to the next cutscene the music stopped.. is there a way around this or am I gonna have to time how long each cutscene is and chop up my music into different parts then re start it at the right part at the beginning of each cutscene?

you need to make the music start when the cutscene camera starts I think. Try that .

I have about 3 cutscenes, 1 after the other, and the music is triggered when the first cutscene starts, but when it goes to the next cutscene the music is gone..

have you tried an ambient sound? Or an invisable, non-collide...able keyframe with a loop sound?

I think you are talking about one cutscene even with multiple sequences..?
Music in cutscenes must be triggered inside the cutscene event.
Each line has got this "Trigger UID" or "Start UID" (something like that, its somewhere at the right.) which triggers an event.

Put a Delay in your map somewhere and remember its UID. Now write down this UID in one of the sequences. The delay can be 0.00. This one will be your root event to trigger everthing when the cutscene starts, and I think there is also a trigger for ending cutscene.
The music will not stop while going through the single sequences in the cutscene.

I'm not sure if already played music from the game will keep running in cutscenes, I think you always have to set a new song when a cutscene starts, the way i've explained.

don't think amb sounds can be triggered on and off and tried the keyframe already.

Ya. I have 4 cutscene events and the first is triggered and it triggers a moving target which it fallows then when that target gets to the end of its keyframe it triggers the next cutscene, etc. so in game it's just 1 long movie sequence. an i want a song playing throughout those 4 sequences but once the next cutscene in the sequence is triggered the music stops.

so i guess i'll just have to chop up the song and trigger a different piece at each cutscene kinda like what you were saying, because it doesnt seam theres a way to get 1 event to play through multiple cutscenes. cheap RED

Actually creating 4 cutscenes for 4 following sequences is not correct.
You must use 1 cutscene for 4 sequences in this case.

If a cutscene is played at the start and at the end of the map, though, 2 cutscenes are requied, and as many sequences inside them as you want.

This way the music won't stop, as you can see in my Lego mod.

lol didnt even realize you could add more then 1 sequence to a cutscene event. lol well too late now. I got everything timed and working now, and I'm too lazy to mess with it again.

[edit] I decided to do what you were saying RED-Frog because after all the cutscenes parts of the level wernt rendering right.. like you had to be pretty much right next to a brush for it it appear so i combined all the cutscenes into 1 cutscene event and re did most of the triggering and now everything works great. 1 music file plays through all the different cutscenes, everything renders fine, and now I only have 86 events instead of 109 so its less of a mess of events.
