ok i have done all the router system editing(port forwarding), now when i host the dedicated server it does not show up in the redfaction game tracker but it shows up in the panajaland.com website overview of the redfaction game tracker any ideas? on how to get the server to show up in the game its self

you have to add my ip then put 7755 at the end, why won't it show just when u click get servers

Believe it or not it wont show up in your Red Faction Server Browser , Take a look at the Server text (note pad file) and you will see your IP is indeed in there, Its just a bug in the Server Browser . To prove this ,simply get someone ( NOT on your network) to look at their Server Browser and they will be able to see your server.

Don't worry it had me going for a while too

It will show when you click Get Servers, put your server port as 7756, then open RedFaction Launcher ->Setup ->Network and Force Local Port 7755.

Then go ingame, click get servers, click on your server and play.

ITCH, its not a bug. Two applications on the same network cannot be using the same port and be able to communicate with each other. Its basically like trying to dial two numbers on one phone line, it just won't work.

I know what you said, I simply meant that it wasn't a bug. The reason why getting someone from outside the network works is because they're not using the same ports on your network. Simply change the port on a client from your network and you'd be able to see it.

it's still not working ... and the server is showing in svrlist.adr hmmmmmmm
