Hello everyone!
Me and Spikey have decided to pick up work on this mod once again. Some details have changed, but the core objective is still the same.

The headcrap is 1:1 to Half Life, they only port the content over to RF.
You should not make the mistake and even recreate the levels/mission of Half Life because noone would need that. |

Who said Half Life is bad looking?
Btw i hope to see some progress in the mod.I have an idea,instead of copying the HL story why not make a new one like you know when the portal storm opens in all places around the world.Well why not making a story about this grizzled policeman who has some personal problems like being divorced and is fighting over his ex-wife on who keeps the kids and suddenly while on a saturday these wierd lighting seem to happen and then xen creatures pop out and murder everyone in the neighbourhood then you rush to the police station to get some weapons.In the process you run into a hardware shop and grab yourself a crowbar.Now its up to you to link with the US Army and maintain communications in the town so you can call the Us army and then when the army comes you fight with em.You guys cann add stuff if you want coz i,m too lazy to type the whole possible story
See there,s a good story without needing any original Half Life story. |

We've never inteded to do a copy of Half-Life. Up until the resinance cadcade, it is the same (The tram, Black Mesa, the Test Chamber, destroyed Black Mesa) But then you go out onto the tram instead. The story goes on from there |

In very simple terms, for young froggy to understand, Half-Life Faction is a modifcation based upon the orginal Half-Life One Game made by Sierra and Valve. Instead of copying everything from the orginal Half-Life, we have decided to impliment a new story into the game.
For Example: What if Gordon went this way instead, what would happen?
We are going to be doing a whole new story with this, making it up as we go along. Idea's and comments are all welcomed from the community.
Also, there "MIGHT" be different weapons in this mod to the orginal, and there will be a Multiplayer at some point.
We are looking forward to the communities comments and idea's and we are espically looking forward to creating a new story with characters you will meet in the game. |

Keep in mind, the test chamber won't ever look like that. That's all the effects on at one time |

Yeah, just like Half-Life 2 to Episode 2. You meet Alex, then her Father. (Sorry to ruin this for those who never played Episode 2 yet) Alex's Father gets killed in EP2. something like that? |
