It's because PF reads from one more vpp than normal RF - Filesize in vpps that can be loaded by RF has a limit  |

Whoops - just remembered PF is a Beta... perhaps wait for the full version 1.0.

Most likely they wont because I contacted them when Lazyban 1.3 came out and they said they wanted to look at it so I sent it to them and even though they were impressed by it they said that since it wasn't there people that wrote it they wouldn't put it as a official update because they didn't want to be liable for some unknown persons work.
Besides to them RF is already dead. |

Actually, while playing using PureFaction the other night with Hapa "and the gang", I was able to switch from rail to another weapon after a rail shot. Didn't work every time like before, but if you can time it right, I ended up doing it every now and then.... |

Probably you need high Pings for doing that. (mine was around 60) Now I don't want to know what happens with lower pings.
Switching weapons in general is a pain. It's not only the problem after the railgun shot.
Sometimes I couldn't fire my weapon at all. He said he's going to fix it, though |

yea nothing major...just not able to shoot is ok. Lets take this as a weapon-jam feature.

Nick, i dont see why you people keep being so damn sure that it will be a succes. all servers i join telling that they need to download it say it will fail and they wont even try it out. |

True,
I was excessively trying to promote it, but I've mostly got the same feedback.
Some are happy with RF as it is.
There is one great custom maps server for example (redfaction.at.tp)...which has no modders at all. (they can always be banned, and the opportunity to play custom maps nowadays should not be wasted)
Now if Pure does changes (as in limitations) on the gameplay and functionallity of Red Faction instead of only blocking cheats, then I'm not sure how long people are going to like it. |
