Ok, Im curious how this works, I have heard that in Run maps, you can get Checkpoints that dont close when you activate them. Is this done using a Geo Mod explosion?
In my Map (really old one I have decided to finish) I still use old style with doors.
Meaning that if someone joins late, or leaves it resets for them. |

Just have a look at deathrun freestyle i guess, open it up in red, and see how cyrus has done it. |

Ninja discovered a trick to fix that; I'm not sure what exactly it is, though, you might want to ask him yourself. |

Hmmm, From what I could see in that demo map it doesnt make much difference?
It basically allows the user to put a KeyFrame in front of the checkpoint door when the button is pressed. Does this really work? I dont see how. Im thkning I may use Geo-Mod events which would just blow a hole where the shortcuts go. |

From what i've gathered from Ninjas test maps, and his explainations his method is simpler than cyrus'. Not sure if it's supposed to be public knowledge though |

I believe there's a tutorial somewhere here on L4Y. I highly doubt he'd keep it a secret, as he's the type who loves to brag about his accomplishments. |

That actually sounds like a much simpler system. It also sounds like a perfect solution to making CP doors in my run map, if you don't mind me using it? |
not a problem, go ahead. I have often wondered that ever since Deathrun 2/3 (havent played any newer ones)
My Run map is real old school style. LOL! |

hmmm, surely thats the servers fault for increasing the Geo-Damage?
I need Geo-mod for my run map, as part of it requires it. |
