DFI mobo, Gainward graphics

Motherboard wise....
ASUS has been doing somewhat well... Kinda went downhill slightly from where they were.

DFI jumped up and crowned itself the king of Socket 939 AMD chips with the DFI LanParty nF4 Ultra-D and SLI-D.

Gigabyte has slowly been gaining respect in the overclocking, etc. area.

But personally, I prefer whatever is the most bang for my buck... Just like any other enthusiast. Sure, I have my brands of choice, such as eVGA for vid cards due to their extraordinary support, 90-day stepup program, lifetime warranty, warranty covering aftermarket hsf, modding, etc.

And my preferred brand of mobo would be between the 3 I mentioned and one more, DFI, Gigabyte, ASUS, and Abit.

Honestly I'd just tell you to grab not what is highest in price or by brand, but what is most reliable, stable, and has good features. As well as if you want a board for overclocking, etc.

I kinda stuffed up this poll, should of had graphics and mother boards as separate polls. Any way I like Abit, MSI and I just got my first ever Asus board 2 months ago. I gota say Asus have won my respect

Personally I hate gigabyte board as I have had only bad experiences with them, but I cant ignore the fact that they are very popular.
I like EVGA and XFX for graphics

Manufacturers of Nvidia cards...

For example I have a XFX GF6800 - Its an Nvidia board but made by XFX.

Thats my choice when it comes to graphics.
Asus for motherboards.

Those are my preferences, however if at the time of buying there's something that has good reviews I'll consider switching - I merely start by looking at XFX/ASUS first.

I've only ever had experience with bargain brand motherboards, mostly WinFast and Biostar. I don't really prefer one over the other, they both pretty much perform well for the price, and have a good lifespan. As for graphics, NVidia is the way to go for onboard, but only if you don't have the option of an add-on card.

Inno3D and EVGA are based towards budget buyers, thus there usually cheaper than most other brands.
