The new Star Wars title is called 'Battlefront' and as of yet is not planned for the PC but for the PS2. Anyways its been described as "Star Wars meets Battlefield 1942" Look inside for 3 screenshots! Simple as that... better graphics than any other of the consoles and waaay more choice of games. However compared to a PC the PS2 is the equivalent of what your granny would own. Just compare Max Payne 2 accross the systems, or another graphically intense title. PS2 has the lowest system specs and is TERRIBLE at handling textures. And it doesn't even have bump mappers or pixel shadders. It doesn't matter what graphical hardware a console may have but the games played on it do... The ONLY game the XBox has the PS2 beat on is Project Gotham Racing 2. When you see that you'll think it was on a PC... not a console. Demon - I work at a games store. I may only be a XMas temp for them but I'm surrounded by screens and games from all consoles and believe me when I say the PS2 has all of them beat. Maybe not on paper, but in actual games out there available it wins hands down. XBox is the ugliest... by far... its a brick with the XBox logo printed on it... Game makers don't have to worry so much about custom built machines like they do with PC's. There aren't any unknowns so its easier anc cheaper to develop software.
