EDIT: Since some people seem to be confused, this wiki is not a page-long summary of Red Faction. It is a detailed knowledge base about the entire Red Faction series. Think of it as the ultimate wealth of community knowledge.

Maybe this wiki can become big once, but that's only gonna happen when everyone participates and stop being so ignorant such as the guy in post #2  ( No, not the nap that posted his 2nd post overall.)

When people find themselves working with .tbl files, they think they are programmers already. You are one of these persons.
You can call yourself something if you can keep up with people like me.
Otherwise, sit down and learn something, and not just brag about non-existing facts.

That's a pretty arrogant comment don't you think  ... there were the people who origionally made redfaction you know ... and they made the engine from scratch ...
If you make a 3D game engine from scratch ill then consider it ... untill then ... SIT DOWN! 
But in the broader picture, you are obviously here just to stir things up ... otherwise you wouldn't of bothered going through the process of creating an account and posting ... you are always in the RF community to stir things up (modding servers, crashing servers, trolling forums) ... thats your forte

And could you make a program that would reduce the number of shots the precision rifle can deliver in a second. Like a limit for everyone on all servers. That would be the end of drummers and speedfire. |

Firerate is client based in RF.
(never noticed the rapid firing modders? )
Of course the server could ignore shots that were done too quickly in succession and give ammo back to the player. But that would be really hacky.
On the other hand.. the drummers are worth CENSORED . I kill em with sniper in their face whilst they can't drop one single shot in mine.
It's really funny to kill the drummers with slow but precise shots (I can't fire fast anyway), you have to learn to ignore their shots.
Look I'm a drumma! I make videoz on youtube and show you how I can't aim!
Does RF:G allow fast firerates?
On one hand...it's a really great feature for a game.
I did not remove it in Mars Wars because limited semi fire is L A M E. |

nooo. Unlimited firerate sucks. It's unrealistic, unfair and it incites to cheat.
Firerate limits should be hardcoded or serverside.
Could you do that aboveyou? |
