I was in the midst of chatting to a friend when this popped up, so naturally thought they had actually sent me a link as they were talking about videos they were watching. doh. It automatically sends the same link to your contacts. My concern is this, I didnt enter my Passport Password so it surely cant be using MSN directly from another machine. I cant change my MSN passport to be safe it keeps producing an error.
Now this means, more likely it infects my Computer and uses MSN through my Pc im using at the minute. Im using outdated ESET NOD32, and it hasnt detected anything, Im using Opera so it shouldnt have downloaded anything without me knowing, I just have installed an up-to-date free AV program which is Avira AntiVir. gonna be running a scan using ESEt and AntiVir. Any other advise. To my knowledge I havent recieved this "bug/virus" whatever, but I want to make sure it aint gonna be passed on.  |
