one thing that bothers me is these people are all hopped up about how relistic there game is and how mutch they spent getting it realistic but i can see just from the screenshots that the reversed the recevers on several of there guns and that they are using parts for things they arnt. like the bolt force close button on the AR is being used ofr a charging handle. i have emailed them, nice emails mind you, and they havent sayd one word to me about it.

I wouldnt think that they would respond to ur emails... If I finished a gun model, I sure as heck wouldnt like to redo it.
As It's temple and It's victim, my blood runs on marble floors, just like some insane circulation, ...back into my corroded heart.

We will try to create models with near life exact parameters of fire as well as the comparative effectiveness of different models. However, we are not trying to develop a virtual SWAT simulator, which means the weapons will be best adjusted for the game.

They aren't aiming for Exact reproductions

I just downloaded another trailer for this game today. It actually showed much more FP action than the previouse ones I've seen, but I haven't noticed the bolt issue. I did notice that the shotgun shells simply ejected upon opening the barrel, which, to the best of my knowladge, shouldn't happen.
Also, there are of course some pretty unrealistic things about some of thsoe monsters/mutants.

I think that what they should be most proud of is not the realism itself, but how rich, balanced and involving the atmosphere is.

I would love to be involved in some sort of tactical modification for that game. It has practically every option I would ever dream about, and loads of style.
Operation: Flashpoing is the only FPS I can compare this game with. I just hope this one will have a much less bulky multiplayer.

This game will be nothing like Operation Flashpoint, in terms of gameplay.
Read the part of the interview about it being a FPS/RTS

Still, the atmosphere reminds Operation: Flashpoint more than any other game I know of.

Although way, way better, this game would share some gameplay characteristics with GTA -- where a massive playing environment, a semi-linear gameplay and whether/daytime changes have been implemented for several years.

This game has a very good chance of becoming a classic, just as long as it won't be hampered by commercial interests, and won't be too graphically-bulky to be fun.
The problem might come-up with the multiplayer. It might well follow the footsteps of other new FPS and be dodgy and laggy, plus all those options and graphics won't help...
Without single-player, a game is worthless on the long run.

This is one to keep an eye on. Player speed and graphics are perfect. The weapons are similar to the ones in firestarter . I just hope it has multi.

CGN: Talk a little bit about the multiplayer options of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.

Oleg: Multiplayer, allowing for up to 32 players in a game, will support several game modes. This will certainly include analogues of Deathmatch, Capture the Flag and team mode

Looks like they their shootin for it. Lets just hope they stick to plans
