I have not had the chance to play this game is it any good, (bear in mind I thougth Oblivion was too slow for my gaming taste).
I love sandbox worlds but I want alot going on in these worlds and also a chance to sit back and watch the world go by if needed. |

The game feels just like you're playing an Oblivion mod. Granted, it's a very professionally done mod, but that's all it really is. |

Oblivion sucks.
Worst RPG.
Fallout3 on the other hand is great, far away from being an "oblivion mod", it's basing on a very different engine and it's hard to not notice that.
If Oblivion was your first RPG, then you might call every other RPG an "Oblivion mod", because that's how RPGs work.
I'm a fan of RPGs and know way more than just Oblivion, that's why in my position I can say it sucks. Graphically, technically, gameplay-wise, sound-wise and the overall idea with the weird characters and thin non-believable storyline sucks.
Try Gotic 1 & 2, Drakensang, Two Worlds, The Witcher, Neverwinter Nights, Sacred.
All better. ^^
Back to the topic... a Fallout3 section looks rather useless since there will be not much interest nor many files to download.
I doubt there is big interest in modding Fallout3 anyway, I've seen mods where you can fly and shoot insane amounts of rockets. How stupid is that? Completely off the point of the game. |

ATM its stupid little things. but it will turn into some epic mods I think. |

Except that Fallout 3 does run on the Oblivion engine. Oblivion is far from a "great" RPG, but it's definitely worth a play through, as is Fallout 3. I've been playing RPG's for quite a while, including some of Squaresoft's and Enix's finest.
SkipRat, even if there is a huge interest, not many people can mod the game without proper tools. I think the section should be put on hold at least until some sort of SDK is announced. |

So basically Fallout is an RPG. Not for me then ....I mean I liked Final fantasy 2,3 and 7 the others were ok but now I find I need a faster pace of game than an RPG can offer. |

It's not so much an RPG as it is an Action/Adventure game with RPG elements. It's not an RPG in the traditional sense at all. |
