Hello peeps!
Its nice to see and hear from you all again after a short disappear from L4Y.
Why did I disappear for a while? Well because I havent had time really since I got a new job now, working as a Computer tech agent on 1st Line Tech support for EDS - Electronic Data Systems.
But anyways, This is not all about my new job, this is about my new map that I am going to be starting at the beginning of January.
No work has been started yet, but there is defently going to be something I want to leave off from the Red Faction Mapping Community.
We all know our wounder new game thats out on PS3 and Xbox360 called Mirrors Edge. Well im not a console gamer, im a PC gamer and Ive got Mirrors Edge on Pre-Order as soon as it comes out.
Well you may have guessed it by now, I am going to be making something on the bases of that game, adding as much detail that I possibly can, and pushing Red Faction Level Editor to its limits.
Now ive been mapping since the day this game came out, And ive had a lot of help from people who knew it before I did, so I would like to give my thanks to those people who did gave me advice, and shown me a whole new level of game design.
Now ive still got a few mods here on my computer that still stand as "Unfinished" aswell. Mods that I have had my wounderful friends help me on making mods like Half-Life-Faction & Command & Conquer. I would love for people to give me a bell if they would like to take these mods on and continue them if they wish. As long as those who helped are happy with that too since some of their important work went into those mods and I hate to disappoint them by giving their work away. I will consult them first.
I am not exactly leaving the RF Community, I will be online from time to time (If I have time that is)
And we all know the alarming growing of new games coming out also perk me to play different things like GTA 4 and Mirrors Edge. I got one and its great, just waiting for the other.
I have made a lot of maps for Red Faction, So many that my idea's have came to an end, and now I don't want to map with no ideas. Never the less, I really want to make this last map and make it something thats not going to disapoint anyone (I Hope). But for the rest of you out there who do map, I hope you all continue mapping with great idea's and give the community the never ending cycle of Custom made Maps for Red Faction.

Nah, you will be back. I can't imagine you leaving anyway. You love RF too much.
So, I take this as "This is my last map before I eventually come crawling back to make some new. But I will cleverly worm my way back here to make it seems like I never left in the first place. On the contrary I will just tell everyone that I had high hopes for a game which has let me down, so I have come back to RF." thread.   |

No im actually leaving the mapping community. Im not making any more maps after the last one I annouced. There will be no crawling like a catapilla back to the community and such. |

I will not flake on you guys. I swear. As soon as I play a little of Mirrors Edge, im mapping my last map as for told.
