Agent 47 seems to never get tired of killing, and this time he will be working as a freelancer.
In Hitman: Blood Money, Agent 47 has been forced to leave ICA. It seems a bigger and more dangerous agency has set out to take control over the hitmen, and instead of taking on the competition with ICA, they decide to kill the ICA-hired hitmen one by one. Agent 47 understands that he might be tne next to go, and escape to USA where he makes a decision to run his own business.
In Hitman: Blood Money you work for cash, and get a reward for every hit you succeed in. These money you will have to spend on new equipment that will help you advance in your campaigne. The game is built on a new version of the Glacier-graphics engine, developed by IO-Interactive. It will be released for PS2, Xbox and PC in the spring of 2005. Janos Flosser, CEO of IO-Interactive states:
- We have spent a lot of time develpoing the new version of the Glacier-engine, and are able to implement new and exciting features. The quality of the graphics and artificial intelligence surpasses our expectations, and combined with a touching storyline and the introduction of new characters, we will have what looks like the best Hitman-game so far.

I have all the Hitman games, and I hope this one will be just as good.
I am glad that they are working on the AI, as that was the low point of the last Hitman game (Contracts).
- Only a few months away!

I enjoyed the first one, as it was the first time I'd played a game with rag-doll physics, and dragging corpses up/down stairs was hilarious.
I've had a brief shot of the second one, and I did own Contracts (the 2nd sequel) but to be honest I was disapointed with it. The levels were just re-makes of some levels from hitman 1 and 2, and did anyone else notice that in every outside level it was raining... apart from the snow level.
Hopefully this new Hitman game will surpass Contracts in every way. |
