Why save the world when you can rule it?
Going where no previous James Bond game has dared to tread, GoldenEye: Rogue Agent breaks all the rules by transporting players to the dark side of the Bond universe to experience life as a high-rolling, cold-hearted villain. As an aspiring 00 agent dismissed from MI6 for reckless brutality, you hired as an enforcer by Auric Goldfinger, the wealthy super-villain with a lust for all things gold. Cross paths with such legendary allies and enemies as Oddjob, Scaramanga, Xenia Onatopp, and, of course, P.Galore on globe-spanning missions of vengeance and demolition as you make your unrelenting rise through the ranks to the top of the villain world. Featured modes include story-driven campaign missions, deathmatch style simulator trials, and objective-based war games for single and multi-player play.
This game will be for GameCube, PS2 and Xbox

Its news to me.
Thx for the news Lace. One thing I dont understand is why are they calling the game "Goldeneye" if its got nothing to do with that story. Or do you play the part of Alec Trevelyan (006)? |

Maybe you are the one who need to think before you post, Karl? If you knew about it for so long, why haven't you submitted news about it here? There has not been a word about it on this site earlier. But I guess it is always easier to critisise that actually doing something yourself, right?
SKA, what they say:
EA's game instead originates from the likes of Bungie's great FPS. It's a fast-action first-person shooter that's visceral, hard-hitting and crunchy. Yes, crunchy. You'll find yourself in the thick of the hornet's nest dozens upon dozens of times and the crunch will come down on you. How will you handle the heat? Will you go for the rush, the straight-out run-and-gun strategy? Or will you utilize the technology built right into your head, the GoldenEye itself? Will you get in close for the hand-to-hand kill? -- Grabbing humans as shields, punching, kicking and hurling your enemies into traps or even each other? Or, will you master all those styles, orchestrating them into them into something altogether different? If you're the latter, then you will indeed be excited. |
A common mistake people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools. |
