With The Settlers: Heritage of Kings, a legend is making a return to the gamingworld.
Back in 1993, the german gamingcompany Blue Byte created a strategy-game different from all other strategy-games. The biggest pre of the game was a presentation made of really good graphics, and fantastic soundefects, but it was the amazing details that made people play it for hour after hour after hour.
From 1993 to now, three other Settlers-games have been made, and even if they got good critics, none of them became the same legend as the original game. Now Blue Byte (which has changed from an independent publisher and developer to be a part of Ubisoft) is trying again, and many will have great expectations for The Settlers: Heritage of Kings.
The new trailer shows about 3 minutes of video from the gameplay, and give a good hint of how much the game has developed from last time. It seems the developers have made some changes, and it is to early to say if it is for better or for worse. Have a look at the trailer, which you can find here (about 45 M :
