Tekken 5 for PS2

Tekken 5 is on it's way, but Namco denies the rumours that say the game will also come for Xbox and GameCube.

The next game in the well known series Tekken will, if everything works as scheduled, be released for PS2 next year. In the last days, rumours have told that it will also be released for Xbox and GameCube, but Namco Hometek (USA) says this is not true. It seems like Namco will do as usual, and that Tekken 5 will be a PS2-exlusive in the consolearea.

Tekken 5 is a close-combat game in traditional japanese style. Besides updated graphics and better figthingphysics, it will have new possibilities to custom make the characters, and a complete new singleplayermode. The game will also have new chracters, including Raven, Feng Wei and Kazama Asuka. Those will get company from a load of characters from earlier games, like Kazuya, King, Marshall Law, Ling Xiaoyu, Julia Chang, Steve Fox, Nina Williams, Lei Wulong, Paul Phoenix, and Hwoarang.
