Lost Planet is 75 percent off on Steam at the moment. (5€)
For that price, I highly recommend to grab that amazing game.
The graphics detail, the ideas and gameplay blown me away, not many actual games could actually do this.
While checking my Feeds I found a new entry for a Lost Planet 2 announcement video.
Now that one blown me away twice as much.
If you know Lost Planet and you see that one you will see how much even better the game will be.
I'm highly looking forward into playing LP2, and will buy it with no doubts.
It's weird, I wonder why games magazines and the metascore on steam putting this game down such a big time. I never wanted to buy it for high price because I believed them. They made it appear like a Dx10 biased game, more like a Dx10 demo or something. (I think it was the first Dx10 game ever)
Perhaps it becomes boring after playing it for 5 hours. But I really don't care, and I can't think of that.., I bought it at a low price but the experience with this game I already had was worth much more. It reminds me a lot to the game Giants: Citizen Kabuto, one of the best games ever made.
You should really check out that video, unbelievable stuff. (yes, it's ingame footage)
Lost Planet is a good entry into what is awaiting us with RF:G. I'm really curious if RF:G can keep up with Lost Planets animation, effects and sound. We will see. |
