Filesize = 560mb.. which = HUUUUUUUUUUGE download time on 56k. Probably would be around a week - NOT KIDDING!!
And also...
1) It doesn't support my GFX card [nVidia GeForce FX 5200
2) I don't have a powerful enough CPU [I have 1.6, it needs 1.7]

Go to HERE and click the button link that says Get DAP 7.4 Free. Let it download.
After it downloads install it somewhere on your computer. Then after it is installed open it up and on the top you will see a sub menu link that says Tools. Click on it. Then click on Options, and when your in the options window look for the link that says Connection on the left side. Click it and set your connection speed to whatever you have, then set the Acceleration mode to Super Acceleration mode.
Extreme mode is only available to paid users, but dont threat, the free version works at the same speeds as the paid version, I know because I once had a paid version.
Now click Close at the bottom of the window. If you look to the left side of the DAP(Download Accelerator Plus) window you will see a button/link that says Add. Simply click it and a dialogue box pops up wanting the url to dl a file. Give it this URL to dl Battlefield 2 at blazing speeds:
http://download.gamespot.com/d4/gsc/action/battlefield2/Battlefield_2_Demo_GC.zip
You can use it to download anything. But if you want a download from GamersHell.com or GameSpot.com or somewhere you need to find out the main URL that links directly to the file. |

Very nice game.
Much more playable and fun compared to Joint Operations... you can actually tell whos on your team
Unfortunately the game set up with a low spec machine in mind, so Im gonna go back in and try some higher settings... come on baby dont crash on me |

I don't know if anybody noticed but the game comes with the 77.30v nVidia driver, which at the present time aren't at their site. I have problem with the past two version of nVidia in which it messed with my desktop icons and I lost control of my character in Red Faction. I don't seem to have that problem with this version of the drivers. YAY! |

I noticed some bots trying to ram their tank through a train.. d'oh
They took about 10 attempts at it, then a huge pillar of dust appeared, then I walked over and took command of the tank...

I dunno, Joint Operations IMO is a great game. You can't tell who is on your team? Then you aren't paying attention.

Riiiight... thats your opinion man. I just find Joints Ops a very awkward game. BF2 on the other hand; I started a game and instantly I could see BLUE was my team RED was the enemy, and the map shrinks to fit the number of players playing, so the action is always exciting.
Have you played both games Splitter, or are you just a big J OPs fan? |
