Quote The folks at Infinity Ward emphasize that they have pretty much rewritten the entire Quake 3 engine for Call of Duty. Only the files and editing tools really remain; everything else from the graphics renderer to the character modeler to the AI is Infinity Ward’s creation and it shows.After seeing the game and talking to the folks at Infinity Ward at QuakeCon, it’s clear that Call of Duty is aiming not to be a rehash of Medal of Honor but rather a game that will stand up on its own.
