The demo has been released for "Call of Duty".
Quote |
Call of Duty a First-Person Action game that delivers the gritty realism and cinematic intensity of World War II's epic battlefield moments like never before - through the eyes of citizen soldiers and unsung heroes from an alliance of countries who together helped shape the course of modern history. |
download Call of Duty
The file download is 175 MB, which is big but this game has been highly rated.

Some screen shots to show you some idea of what the game looks like:
Quote | The folks at Infinity Ward emphasize that they have pretty much rewritten the entire Quake 3 engine for Call of Duty. Only the files and editing tools really remain; everything else from the graphics renderer to the character modeler to the AI is Infinity Ward’s creation and it shows. After seeing the game and talking to the folks at Infinity Ward at QuakeCon, it’s clear that Call of Duty is aiming not to be a rehash of Medal of Honor but rather a game that will stand up on its own. | |

Downloading the demo right now (hopefully). Looks pretty damn sweet, but I kinda have to agree with mrmitchell... Another WWII Game? I like WWII games, but I'm afraid with all of them out and coming out that it's going to get stale... |

HMMMMM lets look at what that word/s actually mean:
Indian Giver is a word that was used against the Indigenous peoples of the land now known as the USA.
"The Indigenous people were known for giving and being very hospitable. They gave a lot without expecting anything in return from whom they gave to."
Yes, like the Sioux who practiced human sacrifice, or the Incas who practiced human sacrifice, or the Aztecs who practiced lots & lots of human sacrifice with cool big onyx knives.
"The Whiteman turned their good deeds around and said the opposite to make them look bad, by saying "Indian Giver" changing it to the definition as if someone gave something and asked for it back they would be an Indian Giver, when the one who gave and then took back was the Whiteman, not the Indigenous ones.
So what are you saying , I am a White man? I recent that. take it back.

Well it was faster than typing it out myself, but I just thought everybody should know what it actually should mean.
BTW "Call of Duty" rocks, well atleast the demo does.

Funny I complete the demo level, well at least I think I did. I couldn't do anything else but shot my own men. OK now the funny part some of them came back to life. throwing granades made them fly. Shooting them on the legs made them limp. All in the name of friendly fire.

If we ever play on the same server together, remind me not to be on your team Frank |

Don't worry G-man... I'll take him out for you!!
This demo was awesome. It was much more graphic than I thought it would be. I'll definitely buy it when it comes out.
