The data showed that 17 percent of the game players surveyed are over the age of 50, a rise of four percent from a similar poll taken in 2000. Women gamers over the age of 18 represented 26 percent of the gaming population, a number larger than boys ages six to 17 (21 percent). The largest group percentage-wise was still the male set aged 18 and over (38 percent). Girls between the ages of six and 17 now make up 12 percent of all gamers. Overall, the survey indicated that the average age of game players is 29 years old.
As far as playing habits, the poll reported that the average player spends 6.5 hours a week playing games, with males ages six to 17 playing an average of 7.3 hours per week.
Economically, 39 percent of those surveyed came from a household that made less than $50,000 a year, while 41 percent indicated their household income exceeded $50,000. |

I'm over 40, most of my squad members are in their late 30's.

If you have spunk, then your never old! If I met a guy that was 90, and wanted to play me basketball, he wouldnt be old...
My grandmas young, because she has energy like crazy, and my grandpas old, cus all he does is make her go get stuff, and sit down and watch the game. He can barely stand up too.
