Red Faction2 note on steam:
"NOTE: Direct X 10.1 ATI video cards or Direct X 10.0 Nvidia video cards are not supported."
wth? Then fix it for the steam version you lazy idiots?
RF1 needs about as the same note. But doesn't have. |

I was just looking in the Store view of Steam and there it was 
I am downloading RF1 now.
Yeah i am not able to get RF2 as well. |

Hm RF1 is banned in germany.
But I think at least the RF2 download should work for me.  weird.
Too bad it leaves out too many people. Who knows what other countries also can't download it. And I almost thought about celebrating a revival.
Maybe not.
How much was it? (just curious - the Steam prices are absurdly high) |

The price was 4,99€
This sucks now that i just purchased RF1 a bundle with both RF1 and 2 got put up if you pre-purchase RF:G you will get both games for free..............
The 8mb bug is still there.... |

Failfaction Nubrilla still isn't in the Top10 of Steam.
And it yet updated 3 times.
even games like Monkey Island (8) or Foreign Legion Buckets of Blood (10) are above it.
I wonder...when it's not on 1 while it's coming with 2 free games...
what will happen if this event dies? (tomorrow I think)

Anyway, who would want two free games that barely work (stock vers) on nowadays hardware? Any other game does. Freaking embarrassing.
What is more embarrassing is the fact that steam globally offers 1+2 free games, but some counties doesn't even get the 2 free games, or one of the two because of some restrictions.
Very good planning. Doesn't look rushed at all.

Steam and THQ.
And the guys at Volition getting payed for working on the titles (such as RF:G regulary. (like every other guy that gets his money monthly to feed the family)
They are not getting additional money for every sold copy of RF seperately.
(it's not like the music stars that get money for each copy  ) |

I think the Steam release is a good thing. While I'm not going to buy the game again, the release might bring some new blood to Red Faction. |

Man, this game is the biggest fail on Steam I've seen. It still wasn't in the Top10.
And it usually isn't really hard to get there with a new release.

I already got the Pre-Order RF:G and got RF1 and RF2. They did not fix any bugs in RF1 but you can still modify it the same as normal RF1 thats not on steam. However, its a bit broken because me and goober did some testing with it. Cannot put the -dedicated in the target line for the shortcut because it still launches through steam when you launch it, so it stops you from doing that.
Pure Faction 3.0 still works on it. |

Seriously, how can you pre-order it on Steam ... and for that price.
I've ordered it for 28€ - 39,50$ (USD) / no shipping
Even if it's a CENSORED game, I can sell it for a higher price than I placed, on ebay. (last time I did, was on FUEL)
LOL!!
On Steam, you can't return it, you don't get a DVD, no DVD case, no manual and you can't resell it. And...you have to gain the data through the internet first. |

its £34.99 here. To me, thats cheap. Espcially when you get RF1 & 2 with it.
RF:G in england will probley selling in the shops at £39.99 when it comes out. |

oh and I thought you had RF1 and 2 already. 
Both titles are woth exact 0$ to THQ. They can just throw it out of the window. Don't expect this to be a good deal or something. LOL
You see, they didn't even take the time to fix issues, they are just pointing out on steam that under some circumstances the game will not work properly, that's downright ridiculous. |
