CF - Fight for Life Tournament
[MC] Gamers, in conjunction with The Cheat Police, will be holding a Call of Duty Charity S&D Tournament to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. All proceeds from the tournament will be donated to help the fight against CF.
What is Cystic Fibrosis?
Cystic Fibrosis is a genetic disorder that affects the respiratory, digestive and reproductive systems. In the U.S., there are approximately 2,500 new cases diagnosed each year with another 3,000 cases throughout the world every year. Currently, there is no cure for CF, but there are many promising new treatments in use and even more on the horizon. The median life expectancy for a person with CF is now 32 years and only thirty years ago, a CF patient was not expected to reach adulthood!

We are in the process of obtaining sponsors for the charity event to insure that there will be prizes available to be raffled off to participants. The 1st place prize for the tournament is a 32 man COD server with a matching 50 man Team Speak server free to the winning team! We currently already have thousands of dollars worth of prizes and we're working to obtain even more. We currently have a web site up and running at the Cystic Fibrosis "Fight For Life" Tournament web site which has additional information, as well as the F.A.Q. on it as well as a forums set up. The site is new and we're still adding to it on an almost daily basis so be sure to check it out often. Tentatively the tournament is scheduled to start on July 10th though that may be pushed back a week to allow for more sponsors to sign onboard.
Here is a chance to have fun while generating funds for a much worthy cause. You may also win your clan or group a free server in the process! If you have any question please feel free to contact myself, Sgt. D. or any of the other tournament officials. Also you can post them in the CFT Forums located on the CFT site. Only with your help can we make this a huge success and help others who need our aid! Here is YOUR chance to make a difference!

Update to the CF 'Fight for Life Tournament'
We are almost at the registration deadline of July 3rd. You have just 11 days to get your teams registered and your entry donation paid.
Please don't let this opportunity pass you by. It is your chance to help people with Cystic Fibrosis, while you have fun! Not to mention the awesome prizes you have the chance to win!
Just to fill you in if you are not familiar with the charity event. This is a Call of Duty Tournament in the S&D game mode. The tourney is for teams of ten (10), and you do not have to be a clan to participate. Some of the prizes available are as follows:
**1st place winners will receive a 32 man COD server with a matching 50 man Team Speak server free for 6 months
**2nd Place team will receive a 24 man COD server with a matching 25 man Team Speak server free for 6 months.
**3rd Place Team will receive a 16 man COD server free for 6 months.
**4th Place Team will receive a 12 man COD server free for 6 months.

The donation for registering your team is $100.00, only $10.00 per player. 100% of all entry fees go to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. There is a PayPal link for your convienance, as well as other alternative means of payment.
So come on and get your team(s) registered before the deadline sneaks up on you. For those of you unable to participate you are welcome to make donations, and CFF accepts all amounts. Every penny counts in the search for a cure!
