Hi.
I'm posting because SKA-Diesel has a problem with logging in.
He recently changed his E-Mail address, and now he can't log-in, getting the error message : Error : Account Not Verified
The first time he went on the new site, he changed his email address in his account. Then the next time he tried to get on, he got the Account Not Verified error.
So, he says he just changed is email addy in his account.. and now he can't get in.
Help would be appreciated 
Oh, and he can't remember the address that he used to register with.. back in 2003. |

Hmmm... tell him to delete his cookies! If he clicked on the "remember my password"... it will remember his PW everytime he comes here! Just a thought! And maybe,, he put the wrong pw in to begin with! |

He says he's deleted ALL cookies, and he still can't access the site.
No verification was sent to his new e-mail address (ska_diesel@hotmail.com).
Is there nothing you can do about it, Garner, seeing as you're the almighty Admin and all  |

Cookies were never the problem...
I'll have to look into the email thing, its supposed to email you with a link to click on and voila your account is ok again. Prevents people from changing their address after they signup to an address that isn't theirs.
I've manually kicked his account, he should be good to go again. |

Ok, its Hotmail. For some reason any mail sent to hotmail from the registration or account scripts never arrives. Same scripts happily sent to my work address...
So I've added a warning to the registration script about not using a hotmail account because the email simply will never arrive. |
