You might have a firewall blocking access to the game. We have got a lot of things given to us in RF now that we did not use to have. Having PF can resolve his issue depending if he gets it. I would recommend getting it. Go to www.purefaction.org and install it. Run PFLauncher.exe instead of RF.exe. Right, I don't really have a need to spend the dough on a PC when this one is good for what I currently do. Besides my new Palm Pre allows me access to this site and emails, so I don't turn on the PC as much any more.
