Hi to all, I'm creating a stranglehold-like slowmotion when shootdodging, so you will enter the slowmotion only if you are aiming to an enemy, otherwise you will have the normal game time, and so I need to know how to create a bullet that goes straight to the crosshair like the ones that are shot from the weapons. Anyone can help me? |

Could be done with emitting several projectiles, from the player, that when it collides with an enemy it slows down the game. and when enemy is dead a code is emitted from him to turn slowmotion off.
Only way i see possible |

Yes, I've alredy done this, and for now the projectiles are emitted from the Gun bone, but the problem is that the Gun bone do not aims to the crosshair. So I need know how to create bullets that goes straight to the point that I'm aiming, this is what I'm asking here. |

Ehm... But when shootdodging the Jaw orientation is defined in the animation, so if I aim up or down the bullet goes always in the same direction...
I'm still working on the cover system, I've spent a lot of time searching a good screen-recording software, but I think that my research is finally ended.
Expect a demo video of an alpha version of the CoverSystem in a couple of days.
PS: However the video is made only to demonstrate that I'm working on something more that only good ideas, the cover system is far from finished, I hope that after seeing the video someone will help me in it... |

true.
Direction in the projectiles.txt is what defines the direction the bullet flies, so if it the same then it should follow the cross hair.
But for jaw bone u could have several bullets. some that one goes forward, one goes incline forward, one goes decline forward or something. |

Evolvercobra: Yes I know that it can be done modifying the weapon file, but you know that the original weapons are locked... If only the original weapon files were editable I could add this feature and the LoosingRemainingBulletsInMagazineWhenReloading feature...
Andersen: For now it's working pretty well using the Gun bones, remains only this little problem. Maybe I will try with the multiple-direction bullets, like you have suggested. |
