If we want the whole bolt to move, not just one end of it moving, then Red won't do it with the Keyframe.. So the only option left is that we have to create a series of bolt emitters to simulate the movement we want and set their emitter timings up to turn on and off quickly to make it look like its moving across. Yes It will flicker when the emitters turn on and off quickly. But I didn't need to use heaps of bolt emitters as I didn't need to move it that far. ... It is a right royal pain that the emitter won't move and trying to simulate it with multiple emitters is going to give you a serious headache, although if you do want to attempt it, you could play around with the emitter setting "spawn delay" so that they appear to turn themselves on and off at the right moment. This might save you from needing a bunch of movers to trigger the emitters to turn on/off. If I could be bothered, I'd try it myself.... but I can't lol.
