Majority or not, those people could include friends of mine who I respect, and they respect me for it. respect comes a long way, but earning it is a great pride of mine. Some people, as such as yourself, cheese me off when they say things that they will regret later in life.
Your actions have concequences. I would only wish you re-think what you type in future, including myself . If you are indeed 19 years old as your birthday date makes out on these forums, then you better start acting it. |

I have been over this with another member with a similar discussion. If you feel a decision has been made incorrectly, we are open to discussion. I have listened to some complaints and re-visited the issue which was highlighted. Just because nothing changes, does not mean we haven't double checked it, confirmed it with someone else. It just means that in our opinion the initial judgement was correct. You are entitled to your opinion though.

I completely agree. We tried to appeal to existing members as well as attempting to get new visitors. I remember registering on many forums (especially Farcry ones) to try and drum up interest. Sadly it never really worked. Advertising through official channels costs money and was a decision for Garner to make. |

I have learnt from mistakes made by a variety of people (including myself) over the course of being a member here which hopefully has led me to being a more responsible poster.
I have been heavy handed in the past, and yes I have let my emotions and opinion get the better of me. I have since learned its not worth to get wound up about such things.
Oh and, your wrong... I believe I have played you! Years ago though, when TheBeast was coming to the end of his gaming time. I used to be good friends with him and Kiliad. I miss the old crew, and would so love to see the guys again...
Winnetou, Kiliad, TheBeast, Romek, Saikou... sooooooo many.
Thankyou also for trying to get this thread reasonably back on track, as otherwise I will have to close the thread!  |

Not exactly rocket science... replies that have nothing to do with a given topic SHOULD be deleted and new threads encouraged to be created. Its not about censorship or other crap that you seem to fixate on - its simple common sense, post your comments about existing topics in the existing threads and new topic starters in... *dum dum dum....* NEW threads. |

Depends. One or two off topic posts can be deleted but when the topic has not just derailed but continued chuff chuffing through the countryside leaving a wake of destruction and occasional hapless passenger who jumped off in a vain attempt to save themselves, then it should just be deleted. The topic no longer has any relevance to the original post thus there is no point in keeping it running. |
