Okay, I was setting up an RF Tournament on RF 1.2 and had several clans to say the least that were interested and said they wanted to fight. I posted the info and talked to many Clan Leaders. I was shocked at how many failed to get with me and give me the basic info needed to get them registered. I would love to see a true and great tournament in RF 1.2 with many clans. I can and will assist in any manner whatsoever to see this happen. A true 5 on 5 DM tournament needs to happen. How many of you agree and are willing to assist with trying to arrange this and making it take place??? Just an idea and want to know what everyone thinks, lol  |

For the most part clans suck.
Being in a clan doesn't make anybody better or more respected though a lot of clan members think it does.
Being in a clan seems to make clan members [Censored] and moan about absolutely everything. It's impossible to beat a clan member because even if your score is 30 - 8 they'll claim it was because your ping was too high or low  or you spawn killed them while they were shooting at somebody else and steadfastly refusing to actually move from the point they spawned at, or they'll claim using a rail driver to have a snap shot at a moving target from the opposite side of the map, while on the run, is cheating because it's a [Censored] 's shot. For a non clan member that kind of headshot results in a shout of GS or NS or just genuine praise and sportsmanship... God forbid you actually dare to pick up health and armour during a game. That just makes you a modder.
The reason you couldn't get any details is most clan members like to think they are part of the elite because they are in a clan. Actually getting officially beaten in a forum where they can't [Censored] and moan about whoever beat them isn't very attractive to them.
There probably are a few who are good enough or just play for fun but good luck finding them. |

i do see ur point...
but there are those clans out there that actually do play just to have fun...LS JTB and BAW(*** are some of them... those are the clans ive persanolly had experience with
u must have had some bad experience with some clans because i dont really see why a bunch of clans trying to have fun is a bad thing. |

and T-M-I-N-E u must have been at the wrong places at the wrong time because most of the people that i know, either clan or clanless, have mostly rewarded a good shot with NS or GS and those that did not didnt said it was a "[Censored] Shot". although
i must agree there are some people online that do things like that but these are people in clans or not in clans, there is no requirements for being a bad sport.

Although I aint in a clan, I personally wouldn´t take part in a competition in RF 1.2 
If it´s possible to organise and co-ordinate clan battles on this scale then it´s surely easy enough to get the participants to download and play through Lazyban 1.3
Screw the modders!!! 
And TMINE, you whinge and moan as good as any clan member I have ever seen So I don´t know what you´re chattin about! |

These and a few others are the only words i hear from \\\"MOST\\\" clan members. Like T said, they think they are the coolest of the cool   . The fact of it is...theyre soooo alone, in reality they seek pats on the back from a virtual friend with a virtual hand. All the while honing their skills of \\\"cheating/modding\\\" without detection. breaking their own arms and necks patting themselves on the back, and kissing their own ARSES.
I can think of a few people on clans who dont share that aditude, but theyre in the minority. I have also had the priveledge of playing against a few \\\"ELITE\\\" in a 1.3 server, and i smoked them , but for some reason.....i can barely get a frag on a 1.2 server. WEIRD HUH?
Take note of who the best/nicest players/people in the RF community. Youll see they are NOT in a clan. GL with your \"tourney\". Host it on a 1.3, and none of them will show. Host it on a 1.2, and everyone will have an excuse. *PING |

Clans argue, that's what had me asking myself why I joined in the first place. And the problem is I can't leave them like that. I try my best to smooth things, keep the spirit going. My Leader had 'no spirit' tagged on him because he broke out in an arguement over something silly. He's asked for forgiveness after I talked with him about it. I feel many other Clans can fall under the same situation and get on their feet stronger. This Tourney could work. |

I can't ever remember complaining about being beaten in a game though I do say BOOOOO!!! a lot. Jokingly of course.

They don't exactly suck but "they" the clan members of today I find seem to complain about what weapons are allowed in servers. That is what I have seen clans become. Most* of them are whinney little (*)(*)'s that start to call you names when you use an HMG. Now they are even complaining about the use of the rail. What's next hand guns?

I use to really dislike the rail until I got a little better at it. It would have been better if the beam didn't go through the walls. Nothing more people dislike(me included) is when you get railed and you can't even see the player that did it, or even worst when they camp and wall hack through out the whole level. I usually tend to go after them when they do that.
BAW Bear sorry about the topic going off topic, it tends to happen here a lot. I wish you luck(good) with what you are trying to do for the game. |
