tell me if this has ever happened to you...
ive made a map, and i can test it just fine through red, and if i start a server. the problem is this...if i join my dedicated server, and call up the map, im booted with the data incompatible excuse.  ive gone through all my folders that could have a second file, and theres nothing. ive sent the file to others, and had them try and join when i run it in the dedi-server, and they get the same result. they can join my other server for testing, just not if its running in the dedi.
anyone ever run into something like this???? i need to know. if the map has flaws, or the name is bad, i have to get it sorted. 
EDIT: well i found the problem. it seems that server assistant4 memorizes all your maps as soon as you launch it. so wether the map is in the rotation or not, it can be called up. i have to reset the server every time i need to test it with others. kind of a weird little thing.  |
