TOO MANY MAPS? Do you have any idea how many maps i have? and how many maps i wanna have on the rotaton? if i thoguht people had everything, id put everymap out there in the rotation.  just for the diversity.
now, you said the duration is too long? do the majority of you all agree that 25mins./30frags is too long for a map. personally i think if its a small map, 30 frags is fast. if its a micro (or something similar in size) 25 mins can be long if the server is dead, but if you have a good group, you wont even notice.
On another note, if you dont ever plan on playing on the server...Why does it matter to you in the first place?  |

I would agree witht his. If I'm in a game with only 2 other players, even my favorite maps can get boring after ten or fifteen minutes.

sounds good to me. next time i restart the server, ill make the time limit change.  Oh, and bye the way, im planning on changing the rotation a little soon also.  ill let ya all know what itll be as soon as i decide.

I am not sure what page it was on in this thread, but someone mentioned "pre-set times for players to gather." That made me think, that if anyone has tried this for a server!? What I mean by this is, why not have the custom map server run on Saturdays only. Then for the rest of the week, just have defaults and micros. That seems like it would work like a charm. I don't play this game much, but if I knew people would gather to play for one day a week, heck I'd get off my lazy_bum and check it out. |

I don't know about this I think I'd still rather see servers, runny costum maps all days/all hours of the week. I'd rather play custom maps than the standard RF maps.
edit: Ow and if your adding any new maps to your server rotation: then I'd to try Grim Reapers: DM - The Pit I'd like to see how that plays on your server. |

Ooops sorry. It's just a personal input, If it's not going to work for everyone, then I'd be more than happy to go wih the flow. And I didn't mention anything about not wanting to play on your server. I check everytime on RF, Your server first to see if anyone's on. |

i have been having a bit of trouble with my connection as of lately.
but i think the problem is fixed. the server will start back up again either tonight or tomorrow.A1-dedicated incase you didnt notice the link in my sig. |
