Im not sure.

Ive heard people say that the shield is useless in multi-player.

Now that I think about it...What about Double sabers? Or Two-hand pair of sabers? I don't mean to jump the gun, but it could possibly be a future idea or reference. Perhaps you can go with the two-hand pair of sabers and use one of the sabers to attack, while the other is used to parry, or stab, or any other commands which come to mind/can be useful.

Maybe have some sort of contrast between the kind of style you wish to fight in, and their capabilities:

Double Saber - Fast, weak damage

Regular Saber { One } - Basic, Decent; Default

Two-hand Sabers - Slow, Most damage


Please do not feel as if you must coerce with the ideas I have mentioned. I guess I am just quite pleased to see this project up on it's feet, and I want to help in any way I can.
this i a posibility for the future but as of right now in more conserned with the TC resimbleing Dark Force's 2 Jedi Knight. and after every one has played the single player story then i'll focus more on the multi player aspect of the game.

P.S. i'm wondering if it is possable to make a secondary jump buttion to be use for force jump. and would it also be possable to make a third fireing buttion to be use for say force destruction and force lightning?

i think RF only supports one Jump funtion and Primary and Secondary fire.

for multiple attack functions you would have to have multiple sets of weapons.

the same weapon model but having a few of them lets say 2 sets of the saber. that would give you a max of 4 functions(2 primary and 2 secondary attacks)

Yes another weapon could be created representing your hands surrounded by a lightning halo.
First fire would be force lightning and secondary fire force destruction (or super jump)

i know this so my thought was to have two diffrent jump hights on two difrent buttion one for normal and one for the force jump (e.g. u press force jump u jump 10 meters in the air instead of 1 meter

While talking and fixing the saber no hit bug me and someong else i'v got helping cam up with an ideaabout the saber

Hmm...

The Mod was pretty cool. Instantly though, when I stepped over the invulnerability in the custom map provided by the map, it popped in my head about the whole glow of the sabre situation.

I'm not very familiar with how .vpp works {As previously stated in another post}. But perhaps there could be some alteration with the invulnerable's attributes and apply it somehow to the sabre so that it gives it that glow? Or maybe even the damage amp without it giving any advantages to the player or something; but rather than having to walk over these items to get that glow effect, could it be possible for it to be implemented right there and then when the lightsabre is in your hand?

that will not work the only way for you to jump higher then normal would be to have a push zone in certain locations to make there be less gravity in those locations.

i had that idea last night and i am glad some one else posted it so i wouldn't have to.

so i guess jumping 10 times the normal will have to stay that way for now.

Me and Linzy are trying to fix it so the whole saber is deadly and not just the tip end. so i am going to need eather your e-mail address OR an MSN account if you have one too to send you the update. (SEND ME AN IMS)

You can't make the entire saber deadly....It is not capable within RF....Sorry to tell you this but it would have to be the same as the baton basically.If you think about it you would come up with that conclusion as well Oh and you talk about updating stuff like this but you need 3d studio max to do such things...And you said before that you "needed" it..So what are you really doing??Maybe a few pics of the new menu,HUD,etc.

Don't mean to be mean but we need pics to see the progress

First: You CAN repeat CAN make the entire saber deadly second: i have about ten screenshots i would love share with every one but i can't figuer out how to post them on L4Y if someone could tell me how to do this i will
