And do tell how you intend to make the entire saber deadly without 3d studio max 4/5
I said it couldn't be done in RF...And what I mean by this is that you cannot edit the tbl files to make the entire saber deadly..However you CAN do it in 3ds max 4/5 |

di you read my last post? because if you had the you would know i allready fixed the saber so the entire saber blade is deadly . it took me five hours to do but i did it |

i have tried in the past, and trust me, you cannot make the entire saber deadly. it basically needs dummies so it knows what part is actually hitting what when you swing, which must be done in 3ds max. if its even possible. just a theory.

Watch the Language please. Darth, they all have good points, However if you say you have the whole blade deadly i dont see wh no-one doesnt believe you.  |

I am not saying I believe you..But I am also not saying I don't believe you...However you HAVE to have 3d studio max 4/5 to make the ENTIRE saber deadly....Even RoMeK an experienced modeler told you that....And I don't even have 3d studio max and I told you
If more than one person tells you this then you may want to listen to good advice or such...Oh and btw...Do you want to get to be a TU??

first i'd like to apalagize for my actions but i just hate have to explaine my self more than one time befor people listion. now i have a question thats going to sound noobis but what doesd TU stand for.
TO sobe: i will send you the screen shots as soon as some one teels me how to make the screen shots look realy bright cause the way they are now u can't realy see the new gun models.
TO ska-diesel can you make the socondary attack an horizontal swing (left to right) if not just make it a double swing. and not to sound too pick but i think the swing sould tak about 2 second longer to play. it just feals like it swing too fast. |

I agree with Romek.
Why in all things holy did this post become popular??
All this mod is, is a new lightsaber and really crappy skins for the old weapons.
I played this mod he made, and its just literally jumbled textures, 1 new weapon and some maps.
Not a good mod at all... i would be surprised if this mod got a 3 star rating.
And sobe you can make special effects in 3ds max for the saber, but only by adding dummies.
I hope this "saber" comes out like in star wars when u use it, otherwise good job Diesel .

TU stands for Troublesome User which has some actions..Whenever you post it will say you are a TU and the post will NOT appear until a staff member oks it..
And Slitz that is what I said...You need 3ds max 4/5 to edit the saber
And even still...I would want to see this mod...Oh and I think that it should have that Emperial Guard blaster from Star Wars:Return of the Jedi |

Your not going to believe this...
My brother was over at my house today with his kids.. and my nephew ran up to me with a full scale replica of a Blaster Rifle from Star Wars.... My brother had made it from wood so that my neice could go to a *Brownies Halloween party as Princess Leia
*Brownies is a sort of female version of the boy scouts
Anyway, after seeing my brother's model I thought it would be great to make more Star Wars models for RF... Unfortunately I dont have time to make more models/skins/animations, but I think it would be sweet to see it through to completion.
Darth Joker's mod may not be HIVE but it definitly has a great theme to capture peoples enthusiasm. |
