Add some speakers to replace the crappy Laptop ones and change the plant color to a more brownish tint and the picture remains the same, yes, the cookies are still there |

Here is my comp setup (the camera is rilly [Censored] ing crappy!!) 
 Monitor and keyboard.
 Printer,subwoffer,phone.
 Comp with front flap open, and cd case, the cds are,
doom3
Red Faction
Morrowind
Tribunal
Bloodmoon
Half-life
Opposing force
Blue Shift
and Team Fortess
the rest are in on shelf, and a little mancubus from the doom3 preorder box thing!
 inside the comp........ crappy

New case, new pictures...
As a side note... my almost 5 year old digital camera is showing its age... took 3 attempts to get it to turn on and the quality is pathetic... oh well... good excuse to get a new one I suppose
Rather than post the images, I'll post the link to the directory they're located in...

case_closeup.jpg - front shot of my case, a nice shiny new Coolermaster Wavemaster. Can barely hear when my PC is on anymore... expensive case but WELL worth it...
desk_6_9_2004.jpg - the desk... excuse the mess...
Main PC is the silver case (the wavemaster), which connects to the two 17" monitors you can see on. The server tower in the far corner is my old case and uses the pitiful 15" sitting at the weird angle (desk isn't big enough )
If anyone is wondering, yes the stereo is connected to the PC... most of my music is in MP3 form anyway and the CD's I've got I can no longer play on the stereo itself because the CD tray is screwed...

Yeah, this camera proudly states its a 1Mega Pixel camera... pfff... even my Grandad has a 3 MegaPixel one... and I'm classified as the geek of the family
Got it for my 18th birthday tho... and it was damn good when I got it... seriously showing its age now...
It didn't used to be that blurry... |

Alienware seems a bit over priced to me. Most people hide their PCs under a desk, why pay extra cash for a fancy tower 
To each his own.
Am I the only sucker with a TFT monitor?
Come on guys get with the times
I know CRTs still give better contrast and resolution in most cases, but I got mine for £100.. so I cant complain. |

the camera i use is my moms which is 4 mega pixels and it seams pretty good |

Well my setup is similar to what you have described there wrecks, apart from the processor, and DVD burner...and the G card but I can get a Gforce 5900 for £45.
My set up cost £600 about $900 (not to sure of exchange rate at the moment)
Maybe alienware test their machines longer or something.. oh and they have fairy lights... thats where the extra 2 grand goes |
