Facts are that PS2 was the least powerful system. They had great publishers who use it to it's limits. PS2 did good because it was "the gangsta system". Every Ecko wearing kid I know likes PS2. They could've done better with cube or box.
Nintendo makes most of it's own games and has a lot of memerable games which sold great (don't make me list em') X-box doesn't have too many games PERIOD! Sure Halo is great but I can't name any others that are only for X-box and are really good. CAN YOU? PS2 has a lot of good games and they got lucky with the publishers. |

It comes down to personal preferance, because personaly I have an xbox and I like quite a few of the games on it, but if you own a ps2 you end up playing only ps2 games and they are all you think is good so yeah... |

That really sucks!!!, I was really used to those controllers!, and I think the were the best controllers ever made for anyconsole thus far.
Another thing I heard that conserns me a bit, is that PS3's disks will be spinning the otherway around than normal disks do.
So I can't make backups of my sony CD's on my PC for when the originals get scratched  |

I play the DS all the time and I can honestly say it does suck. There are no good games except Wario Ware. Anyhoo, there already is a competitor to the Blu-Ray. Forget what it is called, but I can find it... |

Seriously what age are you? Crap games for two year olds? You sir are a fanboy. The average age of a GC owner is older than the average aged PS owner. What does that tell you?
What will you say if the Revolution turns out to have the best graphics of the 3 which is entirely possible.

Ok, I admit that I dont like Nintendo that much however that a bit harsh. The DS was revolutionary (no pun intended) and in some cases fun to play. However I can see why the general masses (i.e. people like you) didnt like it: lack of good games, N64 graphix, PSP is out now, etc. You cant base what a next gen system is going to be like on a handheld system.

Yes the GBA is out of its league right about now but give Nintendo some credit for trying.

In fairness the DS has only been out a few months(and is the fastest selling games machine ever)quality games are at a minimum. I only bought Mario 64 and Wario. Both really good games. The graphics are an issue for some, not really me, as long as the frame rate is good i'm happy. The graphics on some of the games at E3 were somewhat impressive. Sonic looked slick.
The key thing in the handheld market is price. Nintendo sell the DS fairly cheaply(Relative to PSP) and make a profit were as Sony sell the PSP very expensively and make a loss. The two companies are running on different sale models.
I've been impressed by the PSP but dissapointed by it's showing at E3, the pointless PS2 ports on it and the price.
The new smaller GBA is in my eyes pointless but i'll bet it'll sell well for them(At least in Japan). It must cost them peanuts to mass produce the thing.
I don't know why you even bothered to reply top that fanboy Viper the little git can hardly spell.

Plus even though Nintendo tends to make more arcade style games, which yes have brighter clearer colours than most, it does not make it a childrens game. And in my opinion games like that are more fun because they tend to be more clever then hide the crap with gore and dark.
Look at www.gamerankings.com for the highest rating games, and it is from all the main internet game reviewers, and shows the average score. The top 3 are all Nintendo games with a Zelda winning with an average of 98 something %. And there are many more Nintendo games in the top 200 games

It wouldn't happen to be........ Nintendo because of the GameCube controllers looking almost identical to the PlayStation 2 controllers now would it?!  |

Zelda.
Also, you say 360 will rock because of Halo 3... should a system really rely on a single franchise to carry it? Xbox only became popular because of Halo:CE, and that popularity grows today because of Halo 2. Now that M$ has a grasp on the market, they should try making more quality games instead of hiding behind Master Chief. |

It may just be me then 
I would see them both as kind of alike if you spread the analog sticks out and re assort the buttons.... Then it would be the same except missing one analog stick............  |

The buttons on the Xbox look a lot similar than the Gamecube ones... the buttons are in funny places on the Gamecube, there isn't dual buttons on the top except for one place, and the analogs aren't near in the same position... |

I personal dont like Halo 2 much, mainly because I dont/cant play live. But xbox have many of the games that ps2 has, and there is not a great difference in the types and quality of games out if they are different, the only series I miss on xbox from ps is the final fantasy series, but xbox has many rpgs that are for xbox only...as I said before, people talk the other down because they are used to it...and who ever liked the ps2 controler , they are square and cubie, unlike the SMALL xbox controlers, they dont fit in your hand nicely, and the sticks are in anoying places , so you cant press any other buttons while using them.....but that is just my bias xbox owning view talking, obviously |
