Everyone should stop stabbing at the consoles that they dislike because they've chosen/choosed not to buy them, the fact is it is all personal preference, yes one may be more powerful then another, one may have a faster GPU but it is irrelevant, it is what YOU feel comfortable playing on and what YOU get the most enjoyment out of, that is what it all comes down to and that is how the companies get their money.
I have a PS2 but i don't plan on buying another console as a few months after these consoles are released PC graphics will take the lead once again and i'll just buy a new GPU, not that i have a problem with my X850XT.
Unless a console can do as much as a pc i wont be buying it.
And yes Gamecube do sell alot of Mario games but they don't only sell kiddies games so do some research before you start talking for$$hiZle!  |

Ok im confused do u mean that the revolution will not have wireless controllers or it is not soley relying on wireless controllers as a selling point???

It does have wireless controllers. The reason for the(Gamecube)controller ports is because it's backwards compatable and the wireless(Revolutionary)controllers won't be compatible with GC games. |

the XBOX 360 will be water cooled and the Nintendo Revolution is apprantely a "concept" and the Revolution name is not "100%" confirmed.
They also said that the Revolution could be 3 DVD's high |

Sorry i brought up the topic, no point in making a new one when one is right here 
I go for Xbox 360.
I have checked the website www.bungie.net and you can see in the past 24 hours how many people have played halo 2. 64,312 people. And im sure that a lot of other people play other xbox live games. talking 100,000 people already plus and according to many people including microsoft the vast majority of players play offline. Roughly double digit millions here. So that many people as well as many PS2 fans will go for the 360. Microsoft will be rich as hell, but i know most of the money will go to maintanance, updates and content for the games as they all have live aware for them. |

Ok lets look at the facts.
PS3 Its gonna be good but do you know what? its gonna be just like the ps2 Except that it is faster and has better graphics BUT Aren't you getting tired of thoses same game were all you do is hold a controller press buttons to play? Same with X-box 360 Would you rather be playing a game were its perfectly normal, or a orignal and new concept games with the ninetendo revlution?
Look at the diffrent type of controller it has
This is nintendo's controller it will be able to sence 3D movment Examle if you were playing a shooting game you would move the controller around to aim.
But I do have to say that there arn't that many buttons but since it is very unique I must say It MIGHT be the best assuming they don't mess it up like they did with the GameCube!
Oh and by the way DS IS winning vs psp. do A google search for DS vs PSP |

The "facts" you wrote are actually an opinion and you are one of those people who give nintendo fan boys a bad name  . All you have done is say Nintendo is the greatest blah blah blah and given an opinion on the new controller.
I am a nintendo fan boy, not one of those that say xbox and sony suck only nintendo is good, but rather one who can look at the trends, pros and cons across the board and give an unbiased (mostly) opinion on matters involving consoles. Gamecube did so bad because of the "Kiddy" image (which is a lie) and lack of decent marketing (in Australia anyway) which in turn makes the publishers and developers steer clear of it (mainstream = $). PS2 got a strangle hold of the market because of good marketing, early release, multimedia and a brandname people have had experience with. Xbox did quite well because of the magic M word again, Marketing, and its superiority in power. Follow that by some pretty solid titles and the xbox became a contender.
The next-gen nintendo have taken a new approach of "innovation" rather than beefing up the cube and rebadging it and becuase Nintendo have stated they want gamers of all kind i can only assume that they will be doing more marketing. They also stated that they choose this controller style because it looks like a remote and more people who are non-gamers would be happier with picking up a remote like input over a controller style bringing a wider range of people into gaming. This new style may also scare away casual gamers who are used to the controller style and dont want to change their ways. Nintendo are also giving free online with the option to buy back catalouge games for systems NES through to the 64 (Cube games will be playable by disc). Microsoft are releasing early over all next gen so maybe they will recreate what sony did last time and take the biggest slice of the gaming pie. They are also offering free online for people to communicate, get extra content etc but still leaving online gaming for those who want to pay for it. We can expect Microsoft to have great online support for online aswell. The PS3 seems to have similar power to the Xbox360 but will come more expensive (if rumours are true ... no price has been given for it yet) and if sony want to compete they will have to fix up their online services as more and more mainstream people are starting to get broadband is it comes down in price. But people are comfortable with sony so they may just go for it over any others for that reason alone.
Nintendo need to market their new system and explain how the alien controller is used so as not to scare anyone away from it, I fear like the cube the revolution will have its following but it wont become mainstream (lets hope im wrong  ). They need to get people to embrace it rather than stay in the dark. The Xbox360 will gain lots of support as microsoft made a name for themselves with the Xbox and if they play their cards right it will be very profitable. The PS3's success will greatly depend on its price upon release.
Over it all though it depends on if the developers choose to support the system as games help sell consoles.
PS i realise i havent spoken about all aspects as then it would be pages longer and also there are many other determining factors in a consoles success. Also yes i did concentrate on the Nintendo side of things as thats the area im most interested in. |

LOL Iam not even siding with nintendo at all! did I say once that I would buy the revulution, or that I think it's the best? I didn't say that once. All I said was It could have potential so how is that saying its the greatest? I even said "PS3 is gonna be good" Yet I never said that the revlution is gonna be good. So You are not making much sense. |

By describing the others as "tired" and "all you do" seems to be attempting to destroy the images of the Xbox360 and PS3 which in turn gives the impression of biased content. Oh and that little irrelevant side note about the DS only further gives the impression of a one track mind.
You have to remember context can not be portrayed through text so carefully selected words are essential. |

which is true but the main reason they did so bad I because the starting line up of game really really sucked (Except for ssbm in my opion) BUT THE BIGEST REASON WAS NOT MARKING IT WAS THE FACT THAT NINTEDO DIDN'T BOTHER WITH ONLINE EXCEPT FOR A COUPLE OF GAMES!!

And yes i am a Nintendo fanboy ... so what, im not one of those ones that give us a bad name though (similar to blondes, a few of them actually do fit the stereotype but alot are actually much different.)
