he hit a wall doing 150 on a race track, him and his instructor both died, read the link

caused lots of commotion

very sad

some passionate with games, some with cars, some are like me and love both, and I lost a friend 2 months ago in bad car accident (he was driving a 2001 BMW X5 4.4i, trying to catch up my friends 2000 BMW M5, went up over little hill, went sideways - black skidmarks for 50 ft on road, 50ft marks on grass FROR ALL 4 TIRES! then destroyed a cement post/guard, bounced up about 10ft in the air, landed/bounced off of a parked truck in driveway up to 15ft high and landed in a ditch/river that was near the house, instant death) he was doing about 120 M5 was doing close to 140, speed limit there is 35, they were NOT racing, just cruising ...

Sorry but people that drive like that shouldnt be allowed on the roads. There are race tracks for a reason. What if there had been kids playing on the street? They wouldnt have had a chance. Its always a shame when someone close to you passes away, but it seems like it was his own ignorance which caused his death.

that street is mostly empty, and during 15 mnts I was there at the crash site, maybe total of 10 cars drove by

people fool around in traffic all the time, everyone has done it, for my buddy it didn't end happy

and they weren't drunk or anything, its an open road - no sharp turns, but little hills, I guess he overestimated his ability and paid the ultimate price

I believe this is a video of his Carrera GT from not too long ago, must be from one of their meets: http://homepage.mac.com/jsalicru/.Public/CGTvs911csGall.wmv
