Do you have a screenshot? I have quite a bit of experience in DreamWeaver but my version is FRENCH.

But I cannot help you unless I can see the problem

All WYSIWYG editors suck

(WYSIWYG - What You See Is What You Get)

Create raw code in a proper editor, you get 100% control over it then.

Yes, if you write the actual code then as Garner says you have control because you *should* be able to recongnise which part of your code is causing a problem.

I recommend Edit Plus, basically notepad with nice system where it colour codes everything you type

Frontpage, ugh hate that thing

You might joke about Notepad... Unified 3 was written in Notepad. PHP, HTML, CSS... the lot...

I've moved on since but you dont need anything else to code a website

Wysiwyg editors tends to add a lot of useless stuff in your source so it gets harder and harder to understand it.
Example. That page was created with "my first web page", www... blah blah blah"
notepad all the way
