Now we've got a little settled, its time to shout for help 
The Quake 4 and SG1: The Alliance are the network's two newest sections and are asking for help.
Quake 4 is asking for staff members to handle news and files.

SG1:TA is asking for news, files and general content (eg screenshots and links to other community sites)

At this time we are not needing staff for any other site on the network so please dont ask about anything else, you will be ignored! |

Yeah, I got the same thing, I also noticed the Admin PM link on the SG-1 Soupe when L4Y was launched, didn't work right.  |

Owkee I'm kinda intrested in becoming staff for SG1: the alliance although i'm not sure what becomeing staff involves. Can somebody explain me this a bit more. ANd how good does my english need to be is it good enough the way it is? |

It involves a ritual of fire.
Actually it just involves making sure things are running smoothly and you don't need an english degree to do it. |

Ok, staff means...
1)
If you find any news about the section your staff for... post it up here. Checking any offical sites for the game on a semi regular basis is therefore a must.
2)
Files - if you find something that we can put up here, then upload it here.
3)
Content - if you come across a newly released batch of screenshots (for unreleased games) then upload them here... or at the very least the best of the bunch.
If you find a cool site community site, add them to the list of community sites.
Really being a staff member is pretty much common sense.
Forum moderation is a whole different kettle of fish... being staff doesn't give you any special rights in the forums, ie you have to abide by the same rules as everyone else. The only thing it does do is relax the rules on the 'anti spam' filter that normally prevents you from posting more than once in a row. Abusing that privilege will get it removed however... |

Id be intersted in the quake section coz im definatly going to be interested in that....
but im aware its not very likely, I can tidy up my spelling and my general way of typing when its something important though, i just speak like me when im posting on here.
Is there much point in me even thinking about it.... i spend a lot of time on the net, and i normaly get obsessed with these games getting any screenshots and videos i can find

Im interested but im not sure if youd be happy with having me "staff" of anything.
Thats fair enough i guess, it was RHF that brought me here after all.... so i gotta get used to being paired with him and his actions.  |

heh, ive applied.
Should i of put why id be good for it??
i guess you know me and what im like by now anyways.
genxer knows im brilliant at FPS games,I definatly diddnt get killed by bots on his server 
But seriously i cant wait for quake to come out. Id love to have something to do with the section, even if i just helped out working with another staff member that would be cool. |
