With Firefox this site is nearly unnavigatable
Had to use IE to get here and even with this load of sh*t browser you can't start any downloads. So what's the sense in this all?
Bye and thanks for the fish...

That is strange; I use FireFox, have no problems navigating it, and just downloaded a file from this section. Everything works fine for me.
A common mistake people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.

A popup opens that reads:

Click here within the next 3 minutes to begin the download.

Thankyou for waiting!

Either if i click or not, nothing happens

The site was tested in IE 6, Opera 7, Opera 8, Firefox 1.0-1.04 and Netscape 8.

It works perfectly in all of the above.

What extensions are you running in FF? If its only affecting yourself then I'd suggest that its something interfering with your browser at your end.

When you try and put together a site that has 60Gb of files available and a monthly transfer of almost 2Tb... then try allowing everyone to download at once.

Give it a go, you'll find your server melts down pretty quickly... hence the download queue.

What file are you trying to download specifically?

Well I'm at work at the moment so decided to use the machines/browsers here (L4Y is run in my spare time).

Opera 8 and Firefox 1.04 installed. Both vanilla installs, no extensions, plugins, toolbars or anything else you can possibly imagine downloading and installing for them.

Both let me download that file perfectly.

Ok, finally maybe it's the corporate firewall blocking here, although *.zip is usually no problem. I'm @ work here too. Will try later from home with DSL.

If your running XP, perhaps SP2 is not allowing File Downloads. I've seen this before. YOu have to go into the Internet settings and set File Downloads to Enable. Its a pain, because files just won't download and it doesn't give you any explanation.

Everything works fine on firefox for me here.
Bungies website is CENSORED e with firefox but thats one of the only ones ive had problems with.

Now and again pages here are a little to wide. But thats all.

Not bad seeing as its only just changed design. And im guessing its not just the visual side of the site thats changed. probably a lot more!
Meh...

Here? The entire codebase has changed. Other than some of the filenames nothing from Unified survivied.

Hmm.. My MSN browser doesn't work when I try to download files. I can navigate everywhere on the site... but when it comes time to download the file, I click on the little box that says "click here withing 3 minutes" and I get an error that says "cannot locate file!" But... when I switch over to my IE... downloads work fine. It's not really a hasle.. just wandering why it works that way?
