Yeah, I just downloaded a new trailer for Alan Wake... all I can say is WoW... it sounds like a really cool horror style game, but with uber impressive visuals. Its the same team that brought us Max Payne, so I have high hopes for this one.

The game certainly has the visuals but the trailer dosn't exactly impress that much. I suppose it's more of a teaser.

It's not a horror game, it's just psychological action thriller.

This game is gonna [censored] my pc.Seriously i heard that in the live tech demo they used Dell XPS or XP5 machines[I dont know waht a XP5 or XPS thing is nor can i remember what is it really called] running Intel Core Quad processors. This game if you add the costs of upgrading is alot of $$$ and for what?So you can look at shadows and lightings and shader effects and bump maps and HDR and day/night cycles.Seriously i am sick of next gen pc games needing high system requirements but its the future.............This game is promising though. The most powerful weapon in the game is the flashlight.I wonder how will that work.
Scene 1:A shadow pops up and wants to rip the stuffing out of you but wait TADAAAAAAAA.Flashlight then you meet 4 shadow thingies than flashlight again but oh know it ran out of batteries.Whats that in the corner?A light switch?.....................This has gotta be cool.
Oops i accidently bumped this topic i didint checked the date......Sorry
