I am trying to download the RFU4 Map-Pack, but after I've queued to download it, it just freezes... never got more than 6% of it before it freezes out. WHat's going on? Thought there was a queue for a reason, so that only a certain number of people could download at the same time, therefore regulating the bandwidth... well it aint working as far as I can see 
Anyone else having similar problems? Anyone care to explain what's happening?  |

Well, I personally think the que should be LARGER. At about 50-100 users.... |

im having the same problem.  i did FINALLY get the last of the 3 seperates downloaded, in hopes that that would work better. NOPE. once again im getting an error from WINRAR. file is corrupt. this tells me that either it didnt finish like it should have, or the rar was done with errors.either way...i think something needs to be done about it.
HAS ANYONE RECIEVED A WORKING VERSION OF THIS FROM L4Y? OR ANYWHERE ELSE? |

WOW, this morning I downloaded the one file of like 150 megs and it went smooth, I installed it and then BAAAMMMMM!!! It crashed my RF server when I tried to create a map. I have fixed it by deleting some stuff out of the multi folder. I think I was lucky enough to be one of the first to download so no issues there. I was at first with it crashing my system though but all is well and good luck  |

Have mirrored the 4 files onto server 2.
Am currently downloading the full version at 75k/sec from that server. |

im currently uploading the map to another site.(yousendit.com)
is it ok if i put a link up in this thread, and the rfu4 thread, to take a little pressure off the servers? |

Theres no presure at all on the second server. Currently 1 person downloading anything from there  |

Considering the main stress is on the newest files, what about dedicating a miror to the newest then, when the files are one week old change them to the first server. Of course if it's not automatic, it makes a deal of a job.
Just a thought. |

ok i went ahead and downloaded the single download rar from here just to see if it was working right, and the DL went fine, all 84.9 out of a stated 151MB.  i got the same unexpected end of archive error while extracting it. i took the liberty of creating a rar myself to get some people by until this mess is sorted out. you can get that .i downloaded and extracted already myself, and everysingle item prompted me for an overwrite of what i already had, so i know that all 3 of the rars(maps-music-readmes) in this one are working right.
im going to start up my server running the rfu pack as soon as im done here. please join us at A1-dedicated-NOMODS.
